They will pretend they want to buy your item. Under no circumstances give them your banking or other sensitive information, no matter what they ask.
This serves as a reminder to always exercise caution and use common sense in these matters. They may say they want to transfer money into your account or something. DO NOT GIVE OUT BANKING DETAILS! They are many other ways a genuine buyer can pay (Cheque, PayPal, Western Union..)
