| As a founder member of the club, could any one tell me if it is still in existence. I am still very involved in the game,but our northern players dont seem to know . Would be obliged for any imformation. |

| Hi Jimbob yes there are still fish in the pottery pond council cleaned it out and land scaped it. I do not live in Swinton I live in Rawmarsh but went to Swinton comp when it first opened. I have a alloment on Wood Street at Swinton I was born in Kilnhurst. I will let you know about football club when I find out any thing watch this space |

| Thanks Troutfly .I went to Swinton Fitzwilliam ,played cricket for Swinton, football for the Wednesday, born on Milton St ,went on my travels over 50yr ago and finely put my roots in Hertfordshire. |

| Hi Jimbob I have found some more info for you. The Swinton Athletic club as been made into a private club most of the groud as been built on but the foot ball club is still going running from the Victoria club down Swinton so I have been told hope you find this info helpful |
